September is set to see a huge shake-up of the Go North East network, not least in Sunderland. It’s been announced that the routes out of Deptford depot is to be rebranded as the Sunderland district network. September is set to see a number of changes across the region, with a handful of services reverting to routes which they’ve previously operated on a number of years ago.
Each service will have its own unique colour at the front of the bus which makes it easy for passengers to identify their bus coming from a fair distance, even though all services will be united with a red rear, showing that they’re part of the same Sunderland network.
The new brands for the network are seen above, with a new-look Prince Bishops logo now showing on the timetable too, hinting that the StreetLites on the service will soon be treat to a lick of paint, bringing them in line with the new corporate image.
